Calling all village picklers, preservers and creative tipple makers! A fun new competition is coming to The Amberley Inn on Sunday 29th November 2026—so it’s time to start preparing those jars and bottles!
Competition classes:
🥒 Pickled Onions
🥚 Pickled Eggs
🍂 Chutney
💛 Piccalilli
🍊 Marmalade
🍓 Fruit Jam
🍋 Lemon Curd
🍷 Flavoured or Infused Spirits
🍇 Homemade Fruit Wine
Whether you have a treasured family recipe, make a magnificent marmalade or produce a delicious seasonal tipple, everyone is welcome to take part.
Entry: £2 per entry
🏅 Every class winner will receive a traditional parchment certificate and an Amberley Inn drinks voucher.
🏆 Our overall Best in Show winner will receive Sunday lunch for two and the coveted Amberley Inn Pickle & Tipple Cup—plus those all-important village bragging rights!
Entries will need to be delivered to The Amberley Inn on Saturday 28th November, ready for anonymous judging the following day.
